When I first heard about this book. I had to read it. I was very surprised at the depth of the female character. The empathy he has for his characters is so unique; not many men can pull that off.

It starts off  with Samantha moving to San Diego for college. She meets Christo when he comes to her aid and later finds him in her nude model class. I would have loved to be a fly on that wall.

The book was written in a youthful and hip style that would be appealing for more savvy readers but I don’t think I would class this as Young Adult. There is a lot of Adult situations and it can get very steamy and hot.

What I took away from the book was that some times you have to let go and trust again. Trying to let a new person into an already battered psyche is very difficult but worth trying when you find the special someone. Fans of H.T. Night will love this series.

Fearless was a very surprising book and I would be very keen to read more in the series. I think Devon Hartford has a very prolific career ahead of him.
